IN THE big race, it didn’t start well for Jack Miller off the front row of the grid, slipping back to third, then fourth and finally fifth as the riders behind him surged forward over the first three laps.
Marco Bezzecchi took up the lead and worked his tyres hard to clear out by almost two seconds through four laps in an effort to cut down on the impact of his penalty.
But just as he resumed after taking his penalty, Jack Miller went down.. and out of the race.
Also crashing out early was his French mate Johann Zarco.
