Toora man kicks off a winning weekend with $100,000 Lucky Lotteries discovery

A TOORA man had an extra reason to celebrate on Friday afternoon after discovering he’d won a $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize earlier in the week.

He held the first prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10773 on Monday, May 15, 2023.

However, as the winner’s contact details were out of date, lottery officials had trouble contacting him about his good fortune until Friday.

“Oh, you little ripper!” he exclaimed when his prize was confirmed.

“I had no idea I’d won.

“Thank you, mate. I haven’t had the best year, but this will turn things around.

“I’d clocked off for the day and the week, and then I saw this message from The Lott.

“It’s a nice way to start the weekend.

“You’ve got no idea what this means to me and my family.

“This is going to do loads, I can tell you. I want to help everyone out.

“Maybe we’ll take a holiday as well – we’ve never really had one. I’d love to go somewhere warm like the beach.”

His winning entry of one random number was purchased online at thelott.com.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $4.6 million for draw 1612, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $1.8 million for draw 10774.
