Q. How many eligible Australians are not yet registered to vote?
A: 657,839, according to the Australian Electoral Commission.

That’s easily enough to determine the outcome of this election.

It’s easy to register online at aec.gov.au/enrol.

But be quick; once the election has been called, you only have eight days to register.
