Thank you, Woorayl Lodge

I would like to tell my story.

I have even surprised myself of how I’ve tried to turn a darkness into a much happier place.

I have been unwell for almost two years now. I’ve had many months in hospital, had to learn to walk again and try and see the benefits of help. Doctors, nurses and the girls that just help in need.

My wife passed away last August and I’ve had to change to my life around.

Woorayl Lodge in Leongatha is now my new home and I’m so happy.

This little home has 40-odd people and the care and food are excellent.

I’m even putting some weight on, which is good.

Barry and Bernadette are ever so professional and work with all residents. Also Di.

We have nurses and see a doctor weekly. I could not cope on my own and Woorayl Lodge stepped in.

If anyone wants a chat, well, here I am.

Also, I must mention Wellways – they just add to my recovery.
