Electricity supply needs an overhaul
IS THERE any recognition by our decision makers, that after the statewide electricity supply outage, the entire power supply system needs an overhaul? For instance, why is it that those with roof top power generators had to suffer their own power...
IS THERE any recognition by our decision makers, that after the statewide electricity supply outage, the entire power supply system needs an overhaul?
For instance, why is it that those with roof top power generators had to suffer their own power generator being disconnected by some remote flick of a switch? Surely, with technology, and will, there has to be way that the power being produced can be utilised when some problem elsewhere comes into play.
At the very least food spoilage would likely be eliminated. Two freezers and there goes $1000+. Sure, installations were/are subsidised, but those mini power stations still cost the property owner $7040.
My last bill showed a feed-in tariff of just $0.27. That is not the full picture, but I have the feeling that I won’t ever get a return on my investment.
Are we Australians, and our bureaucrats, really so stupid that we can’t do better than the current failed system?
The PRC Military will be laughing their heads off as they observe what just happened! We are sitting ducks! Go figure!
