To celebrate Family History month, this August, Phillip Island Library are hosting a free session on history research and resources, with Allie Griffin, Phillip Island branch manager, Sue Hamilton, and Becky Hayward.

MY Community Library (MYLI) is teaming up with the Phillip Island and District Genealogical Society for a ‘Starting a Family History Journey’ free session at Phillip Island Library on Tuesday, August 26, at 2 pm.

The session is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to expand their research. The event will show participants how to use the library’s free resources to explore their family history.

Participants will also learn how the Society can guide and offer ongoing support with research. This event will be held to celebrate National Family History Month in August.
