YOU couldn’t ask for better conditions for the finals of the K&DTA Junior Summer competition, which was held on Saturday, March 22. The sun was shining, and the wind was a mere whisper as the two top teams from each section battled it out to determine the overall winner of the ten-week season.

Inverloch hosted the Pennant, Section 1 and Section 2 finals while Wonthaggi hosted the Section 3, Section 4 and Section 5 finals.

Congratulations to all the players on the day for your epic efforts!

The results are as follows:

Pennant: Westernport defeated Leongatha Green

Section 1: Phillip Island defeated Korumburra

Section 3: Winners Aylah S, Asher J and Charlie T (Westernport), Runners Up Emerson S, Felix S and Rex F (Phillip Island).
Section 4: Runners Up Noah M, Corin P, Aiden H and Alistar H (Inverloch), Winners Ollie H, Zaine L, Jack M and Will Mc (Phillip Island).
Section 5: Winners Evie Halstead, Eden Hallas and Olivia Clark (Lucy Piroiet absent) (Westernport).
Section 5: Runners Up Tristen, Ava and Tullen (Phillip Island).

Section 2: Korumburra Blue defeated Poowong

Section 3: Inverloch Blue defeated Phillip Island

Section 4: Phillip Island White defeated Inverloch

Section 5: Westernport Barty defeated Phillip Island White

The K&DTA team look forward to the Winter Competition commencing on May 10.
