CONTINUING to show improvement the second time around, Nyora was defeated by Lang Lang by 81 points on Saturday.

Playing at Lang Lang, the day was wet, but the ground was in good condition, so it didn’t have an impact on the outcome of the game.
Nyora was happy to produce a competitive three quarters against the strong second-placed Lang Lang side but was disappointed the fitness began to lapse by the fourth quarter.
Nyora opened its account in the first quarter and continued to put one goal on the board each quarter for the first three quarters.
The goal-kicking effort was shared between Lincoln Brock, Sam Dixon and Jono Hewitt.
A few turnovers in the centre gave Lang Lang more opportunities to go inside 50, allowing the Tigers to gain a bit of a lead in the first quarter.
Nyora tightened its defence and produced a winning second quarter.
With excellent pressure in the backline, Lang Lang had more difficulty finding easy scoring positions.





William McGindle was dominant in the defence, keeping legendary Lang Lang goalkicker Marc Holt to just three for the day.
Dylan Heylen had an impressive day in the midfield and Charlie Moller battled hard in the ruck.

Nyora began to wear down in the fourth quarter and Lang Lang added five more goals to its tally, resulting in the comfortable win.
Nyora will face Poowong in a local derby rematch on Saturday.
The B and C Grade netballers will play their matches on Thursday night, allowing them to enjoy a Ladies’ Day at the club on Saturday in support of the children’s charity Very Special Kids.
The club is looking forward to a great atmosphere on the day.
