THE Inverloch Running Festival was officially launched at Inverloch Rotary Centenary Park on Saturday, July 13, with Directors Matt Morris and Andrew Haug officiating the launch with collaborative partners, Bass Coast Shire Council and Destination Gippsland.
The inaugural Inverloch Running Festival will kick off on March 15 and 16, 2025 on the Inverloch coastline, showcasing the natural beauty of the region.
The festival is a collaborative effort, encouraging participants to set goals and train for the annual event. During the official launch, Cr Ellis spoke of the importance of an active lifestyle and highlighted the need to share the area's beauty with others.
“The plan is to make this an annual event for the running calendar,” explained Matt.
“We’ll coordinate a marathon, a half marathon, a 14km, a 5km and a 2km run.
