THE Phillip Island Community and Learning Centre in Cowes has appointed Cr David Rooks as their new Centre Manager after the volunteers said farewell to the former face of PICAL, Greg Thompson at the end of the financial year.
Cr David Rooks: local resident of the Bass Coast community for the past 23 years, began his position at PICAL this month, bringing with him a background in education and human resources and a passion for volunteering. David said he is looking forward to ‘empowering the community’.
