DOZENS of Wonthaggi locals gathered today to witness the official unveiling of the incredible Alex Scott and Staff mural at the Wonthaggi Workmen’s Club carpark.
It has quickly become a huge source of pride for the town as it features Wonthaggi’s strong mining history while paying tribute to the agency’s founders.
Two plaques were also presented which commemorates the memory of Alex Scott, Stewart Scott and Bruce Gibson, with another plaque also honouring Knox Bros. Timber and Hardware (1913-1987).
