AFTER hours on Tuesday, March 5 we emailed Bass Coast Shire Council about a big branch that had been part-severed in the February 13 storm and belatedly half-fallen down to hang in a dangerous position beside the Pioneer Bay/Grantville Walking Track. We attached a photo.
On Friday, March 8, only two business days later, the matter was attended to. Not only was the potentially dangerous branch cut down, but it was cut into logs, and these were stacked neatly for someone to use for a fire. All debris, including foliage, was removed. Thanks to Council’s maintenance department for its prompt attendance to the problem.
