I live in Korumburra, to help a neighbour I have been taking their children to the Korumburra primary school that now has a new Kindergarten building on the school block on the corner of Princes Street and Wrench’s Lane.
Wrench’s lane has been a one-way road four hours a day 7.30am to 9.30am and 3pm to 5pm for many years. The kindergarten has its own car park off Wrench’s Lane, road laws signs are well placed and very clear for all to see.
I am very concerned at the large number of teachers and parents that ignore the road rules and come down Wrench’s Lane the wrong way and yes” full speed plus”.
These adults should set an example to children that road laws must be obeyed by everyone for everyone’s safety.
Far too many parents don’t set an example for kids “not please, thank you, excuse me or beg your pardon”, just barge through too bad if you are in their way.
There will be a crash, don’t call it an accident, accidents don’t happen, they are caused.
