BENDIGO Bank have been supporting community causes for a long time and are committed sponsors of many sporting clubs around the state.


Dalyston Football Netball club is certainly one that has benefited from Bendigo Bank’s sponsorship and is very grateful for their assistance. 


The bank recently contributed $16,500 to the Magpies and will be put to good use according to Thomas.


“It’s a deal that will help us look after our junior football and netball teams,” he said.  


“Our footy club along with a lot of other worthy community organisations are fortunate to have them,” he said. 


“It’s tough out there and getting tougher and without organisations like Bendigo (Bank) we would be in a lot of trouble.” 


Club secretary Tracy Allan also sounded off on their partnership with the Bank.


“The Dalyston Football Netball club are proud to be associated with them,” she said.


It is no secret that the Magpies haven’t quite experienced great success over recent times, and are struggling building volunteer and junior participation numbers, so Bendigo Bank stepped in to help.
