Phillip Island Classic ‘Festival of Motorsport'

Over the long weekend of March 11-13, the festival will once again become a major Victorian attraction at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit. Tickets for the weekend of spectacular historic motorsport will be available at the circuit gate. Story in this week's Sentinel-Times.

Yarram dog show

Following the hugely successful running of the second annual Championship Dog Shows conducted by the Yarram & District Canine Club Inc. in March last year, the club is pleased to announce dog shows will be returning to Yarram over the Labour Day weekend. Sponsored by Black Hawk Premium Dog Food, there will be three shows over the long weekend at the Yarram Recreational Reserve. Story in this week's Sentinel-Times.

Inverloch Autumn Festival

Karma Country - Archies Creek

Karma County foreshadowed the acoustic roots movement that has become an essential element of contemporary Australian music with songs like the evergreen Postcard. This Sunday, they will be performing at Archies Creek Hotel. Doors open 2.30pm, showtime 3pm.

Music, She Wrote (2.0) - Wonthaggi

Prom Recitals presents Salon Project performing 'Music, She Wrote (2.0)'. A dynamic quartet of young Melbourne musicians playing work by six women composers from five different countries. 'The Joy of Gardening' - Autumn Show

The show, organised by the Welshpool & District Horticultural Society, will be held at the Welshpool Memorial Hall on the South Gippsland Highway in Welshpool, on Friday, March 11 1.30pm to 5pm and Saturday, March 12, from 10 am to 4pm. Meeniyan Art Gallery - Meet the artist

Time capsule

The Lions Club of Korumburra’s Time Capsule Project will be culminating on Saturday, March 12, at Coal Creek Museum in Korumburra. At 12 o’clock, the capsule filled with envelopes of memorabilia will be re-buried for another 20 years. The local Venturers are building a gantry to help lower the cylinder into the ground. Book launch
