PHILLIP Island Helicopters assisted the residents at Rose Lodge in Wonthaggi to tick off one of the activities on their bucket list, resuming after a two-year hiatus due to COVID.

Residents flew over beautiful Phillip Island, taking in the unforgettable scenery and spectacular coastline of Woolamai beach, Churchill Island and the picturesque towns of San Remo and Newhaven at a speed of 200km/h.

Champagne flowed as the residents toasted the first group off on their flight.

The pilot and ground team added to the experience with their friendliness, information and facts about the places below.

Comments and smiles as residents disembarked told it all.

“Most amazing experience ever; absolutely beautiful; I would do it again in a heartbeat; wish it was longer; very good experience - I will never forget it.”

‘Been there! Done that! Loved it!’ is Phillip Island Helicopters’ motto and the residents of Rose Lodge certainly did.

Rose Lodge would like to thank to everyone who made the day a wonderful experience.
