Accident at Fish Creek

BASS Coast Highway Patrol officers are on scene after a car crashed into a rubbish truck at Fish Creek on July 11 (today).

It is believed a Ford Territory was travelling along Waratah Road near Stewart Road when it crashed into the rear of a truck collecting a bin about 8.40am.

The female driver and a 15-year-old girl, both from Fish Creek, were airlifted to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Three children were taken to hospital by road ambulance with minor injuries.

The truck driver was treated on scene by paramedics.
