I admit that the acknowledgement of Aboriginal Country can be somewhat wearing at times, but it is a reminder of the countless massacres throughout Australia.
Early English settlers were encouraged to squat on large tracts of Aboriginal land and their women made pregnant by Europeans and their white employees. Aboriginals from other areas were employed as native police to hunt and kill local Aborigines. Tribes lived in their own areas and only mixed occasionally.
