Agency approved for CEO search

AS THE search for a new CEO continues for Bass Coast Shire Council, councillors voted in favour of appointing Davidson as the preferred agency.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Employment Matters Committee sought expressions of interest from recruitment agencies and accepted four proposals.

The four proposals were assessed against selection criteria to identify a preferred agency, with the top two then then invited to meet with the assessment panel.

Davidson was chosen with the committee recommending they be appointed to lead the recruitment and appointment of a new CEO.

The assessment panel identified Davidson as the preferred recruitment agency and made this recommendation to the Committee.

Davidson are also familiar with the needs of Bass Coast having successfully recruited Council’s previous CEO in 2018.
