PHILLIP Island Tenpin Bowling had a fantastic season across all leagues with celebrations had last week in the wrap up for 2023.
Phantom League: 1st place on 29pts PBA9X, 2nd place on 25pts AlleyGator, 3rd place on 21.5pts Dragonfly and 4th place on 21 Elizabeth.
Season High Scores for the men and woman: 204 PBA9X and 180 Elizabeth.
2s Company: 1st place on 34pts King Pins, 2nd place on 21pts Tinabe and 3rd place 28.5pts Mustang Alley.
Season High Scores for the men and woman: 209 Raff Merante and 192 Tricia Niessink.
ABL (Almost Bowling Legends): 1st place on 205.5 pts Knackers, 2nd place on 199pts PinPals and 3rd on 192.5pts Just Bowl Already.
Season High scores for the men and woman: 237 Matt Edwards and 199 Karen Klym.

To begin the season high scores across both business leagues were:



Clinton Armour with a huge score of 243 and Stacey Bjarring on 159.
Playoffs:
Thursday the November 30, 11 our business teams competed in a knockout round to see who would be crowned the official winners of the 2023 Spring season!
From our early league: 1st Balls Deep, 2nd Happy Hour, 3rd Wooly Rollers and 4th Old Timers.
From our Late League: 1st Team Rich, 2nd Jd’s,3rd Loose Knuckles and 4th Bananas in Pyjamas.
The top team from each division received a 30-pin head start whilst the 2nd place teams received a 15-pin start.
For the first time in the business competition both the first and second place teams in each division were knocked out leaving the third and fourth place teams to battle it out for the trophies and bragging rights!
The Old Timers (Bob, Gerard, Glenn and Ray) and Wooly Rollers (Kerri, John and Troy) were left standing with The Old Timers taking the title with a total of 677pins total whilst Wooly Rollers finished on 582 pins total.
Congratulations to Bob, Gerard and Glenn on the victory, (although we’re sorry you missed your dinner reservation!).
