Attempted car fire of stolen vehicle

POLICE are appealing for witnesses, dashcam and CCTV footage of offenders this evening after an attempted car fire in Wonthaggi on Loughran Drive around 6.20pm.

The offenders of the stolen Mazda are wanted by multiple police divisions on various offences with the vehicle.

The vehicle, which was smouldering when local firefighters arrived on scene, has since been apprehended by local police.
