Brazen thieves target Wonthaggi Motorcycles in daylight attempt

WOULD-BE thieves have reportedly been disturbed in the act of trying to rob a commercial premises in Wonthaggi on Tuesday morning this week.

Police were called to the scene at Wonthaggi Motorcycles and Power Equipment at about 7am on Tuesday, August 30 when two men were scene cutting the wire of a fence at the rear of the property.

The two men managed to escape and police are looking for a silver Holden Rodeo and a silver Toyota Corolla.

A spokesman for the motorcycle shop said they believed the offender might have been targeting motorcycles and are relieved they were disturbed in the act this time.
