Christmas in the Boo committee joy

WOW! Another year, another successful Christmas in the Boo, and the weather was perfect. 

The Christmas in The Boo committee thank everyone who helped put this amazing event together from the bottom of our hearts. 

We feel so humbled by all your support and love for this extraordinary community event.

With what started out as an idea, from three friends, seven years ago, Christmas in The Boo has grown from strength to strength. 

These three friends weren’t sure if the event would run again this year. 

You see, things change and lives get busier. 

But, this trio of friends called upon the help of more friends, and together with Mirboo Country Development Inc (MCDI), we all worked tirelessly to bring Christmas in The Boo to light. 

We honestly couldn’t have done it without the help of generous volunteers, many from the Winterfest and the Italian Festa committee, who share our love for this community and showcasing Mirboo North. 

The jam-packed day, and the months leading into it, again reminded us why we put in all this effort, because we love seeing people come together to celebrate with their loved ones. 

The Community Bank came on board again this year and generously sponsored free kids activities, which in these high cost of living times is so appreciated by families.

The amount of smiles we get see on the kids’ faces, the happy stallholders, who without a doubt are so grateful to the customers who come to buy their products, to the families gathering around in the park celebrating their Christmas catch ups, and our own children who we get to see living their absolute best lives, it’s a great pleasure to see how one event can impact so many people.
