Christmas Street Party to land in Inverloch

INVERLOCH is excited to announce festive celebrations will start early with a Christmas Street party on December 8, from 5pm-8pm. 

A’Beckett Street will be closed off so the fun and activities can spill out onto the street. 

It’s a great chance to #shoplocal and get some Christmas (or just because) shopping done, catch up for a meal or drink with a friend and relax as the street comes alive and the kids are entertained.

Local traders will open late so you can show them some support and there will be plenty of great food choices

DJ Nige will be spinning tunes so you can bop as you shop 

Bass Coast Council is arranging plenty of fun activities for the kids and Wattlebank Farm will be there so you can talk to a horse.

Scouts will be selling cut Christmas trees and the Surf Life Saving Club will be running demos.

Burra Brewery, the ever cook Kombi Keg as well as the local pubs will be serving grown up beverages so maybe you just want to sit, watch the fun and have a drink.

Greener Life Inverloch indoor plant shop and Melaleuca native plant nursery will be coming into town to join the fun, and sell some living greenery. There is also a number of additional stall holders coming with handmade goodies and delicious treats.

The CFA and Surf Life Savers will be there, and it is hoped the jolly man in the red suit will make an appearance to remind us Christmas really is around the corner. 

It’s all about just having fun and celebrating with our local community as the Bass Coast Shire launches its program to encourage us to all Shop, Eat, Love Local – here in Inverloch!
