After winning the past two games against top five contenders, we entered the game in brilliant fashion with Josh Ryan kicking two goals in the first 90 seconds.
Nilma Darnum were able to stem the flow somewhat even winning the second quarter, but we were never headed and ran out comfortable winners by four goals.
We would have won by more if not for a few 50 metre penalties resulting in opposition goals.
Under no circumstances boys should you back chat an umpire.
Simply accept their decision and play the game.
Josh Ryan and Rhys Grange-Lylak played their best game of the season showing what they are capable of and were supported by jumping jack Travis Stewart, the Heylen brothers, Jordy Anderson and the rest of the team.
Keep up the good work boys and expecting a win against Catini this Saturday putting us in top five contention.
Bear in mind if we had won the games earlier in the season where we lost by a single goal, we would be in the top five right now.
Reserves:
Well done by the boys winning by five goals and staying in touch with the top five.
If it wasn’t for a few hot moments where we again gave away numerous 50 metre penalties the margin would have been much greater.
A special mention is Lincoln Brook who seemed to be everywhere and totally dominate the game.
Keep up the great work Lincoln.
