Fireworks must become a way of the past

COUNCIL has requested feedback re: Fire Works held on New Year’s Eve.

There are many who are not consulted but severely impacted by these events.

Those who have no voice and no representative. I am of course referring to all the animals, native and others.

Is Bass Coast wildlife friendly?

Or, is the promotion of wildlife merely a financial drawcard and misrepresentation?

Cessation of firework big bangs would show some sincerity and commitment.

Canberra seems to be leading the way at the moment. Why not Bass Coast? This presents an opportunity to be a leader in the field.

We already have enough pollution of all sorts. Why not use some of the new technology to entertain our valuable visitors?

Big bangs are a pagan way to express ourselves and must be relegated to the distant past.
