What a joke it is if refurbishing the Leongatha Railway Precinct and the Korumburra Station and the waste of money spent on the “rail trail” by local governments, when in 15 to 20 years’ time the migration of the population will be such that the government will extend the Cranbourne line through to Foster and the Bass Coast will get back a real public transport option.
But the ratepayer and taxpayers will have footed a bill that was a total waste of money, and the rail line should have been extended now, not in 15 or 20 years.
