Major works progressing for new cultural centre

CONSTRUCTION of the new Cowes Cultural and Community Centre continues to take shape.

As of late June, the following works have been completed:
* Theatre gallery area concrete pour complete
* Function/amenities area concrete pour complete
* Stage area strip footings poured 
* Sewer installation progressing

The $27.2 million project is expected to be completed next year.
