Man charged for spate of burglaries

A 20-YEAR-OLD Leongatha man was arrested after allegedly breaking into a number of Leongatha schools and businesses stealing numerous items including laptops and a trailer amongst other things.

The accused has been charged with the recent burglaries at Koonwarra Village School, Leongatha Secondary College, Woorayl Golf Club and car theft at Leongatha Primary School.

The male is due to appear in Latrobe Magistrates Court today.
