Midweek tennis spring competition grand finals

PERFECT conditions welcomed the SGMWLPTA Grand Finalists at the Inverloch tennis club last Tuesday and the tennis did not disappoint either.

New premiers were crowned in all three divisions to cap off another strong season. 

In section one, the Inverloch Diamonds 3 sets 36 games defeated Westernport/Grantville 3 sets 35 games.

In section two, Korumburra 4 sets 42 game’s defeated Bena 2 sets 26 games.

And in section three, Inverloch 4 sets 37 games defeated Wonthaggi 2 sets 29 games.

Any ladies interested in playing Tuesday tennis, are encouraged to contact their local club or follow the SGMWLPTA Facebook page, new and returning players are always welcome, the new season will begin in February 2023.
