Of benefit to who?

Looking for a reason to vote “yes” at the referendum l asked the Aboriginal person l know best what he thought. He replied the referendum is a huge waste of money and many Aborigines will be voting “no,” fair enough.

So, if he sees no benefit to Aborigines, and l can’t see any benefit to me should we be putting faith in this, or any future government that changing the constitution will be of benefit to anyone now or in the future?
