Olivia’s takes out state championship

YEAR 7 Newhaven College student Olivia Curtain and Indi’s Mr Zorba Jones (Mr Jones) have won the 2023 PETstock Equestrian Victoria Interschool State Championship Jumping Intermediate 90cm at Werribee Park. 

They have now secured a place on the Victorian Team at the Nationals later this year. 

After three gruelling days of competition against the best year 7 to year 9 students in the State, Olivia and Mr Jones had three super consistent rounds. Olivia’s preparation, dedication and tireless hours of training under the guidance of Frida Lindgren from Lever Equestrian and the countless competitions during the lead up that she puts into her three horses, is second to none.
