CELEBRATIONS extended at Bass Coast Colleges for Year 12 students, as events took place over three days in light of a few COVID impacted years.

Kicking off on Tuesday with an Op Shop theme Out of Dress Day, students not only supported local op shops, but stood out from the rest of the school.

Wednesday students bedazzled their school uniforms (within reason).

Crazy socks, fluro suspenders and bright coloured and feather trims were all the rage with prints also on uniforms.

Out of uniform students dressed up for their Graduation Dinner on Wednesday evening at Silverwater Resort, where all students were on their best behaviour and left with their graduation certificates.

Events all led to Thursday’s final assembly and barbecue breakfast, as students dressed up and said goodbye to their years of high school and prepared for the next chapter of their lives (and exams).

“We have seen exceptional behaviour,” Wonthaggi Campus principal, Ross Bramley explained, as he was covered in silly string by students.

“With extra activities it’s been such a positive group who have taken on a lot of leadership responsibility, especially in planning their end of year activities.”

Students took to assembly to the roar of the senior campus crowd in their themed groups and it was hard to miss the impact they have had over the years on teachers, support staff and their fellow peers.
