LOVED the article by Claire Chetty. I cannot agree more with the words in the article and being an animal lover it resonated with me. I live in a small court and I see dog owners behaving badly and ignoring requests to keep their pets safe and sometimes the community safe which can become a mental concern and has been for me as I was attacked by a dog that an owner in Inverloch allowed to run out of its property.  No fault of the dog of course.

I have had to several times call the Council about dogs roaming around the walk ways, in the court I live in, putting the dogs, myself and others in danger and it has caused a lot of concern and mental anguish for me.

Some people are responsible dog owners and some are just not and should not be entitled to owning an animal.

Another question they need to ask themselves is whether they are responsible dog owners and that should include not only the street in which they live but the community at large as well. It is never the dog but always the owners behaving very badly.
