Police have been busy this week with break ins and trespassing in the area and are also needing public assistance.
Investigators have released an image of Brown in the hope someone may have information on his current whereabouts.

Warrant issued for Brandon Brown

POLICE are appealing for public assistance to help locate Brandon Brown.

A warrant was issued for the 26-year-old’s arrest in relation to failing to appear at Court for assault related offences.

He is described as approximately 175cm tall with a slim build and brown hair.

Brown is known to frequent the Latrobe Valley and Bass Coast areas.

Anyone who sights Brown or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact their local police station, Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or make a confidential report at crimestoppersvic.com.au


Flying wood damages vehicle

INVERLOCH Police are requesting public assistance in relation to vehicle damage that occurred on the Inverloch-Venus Bay Road on Monday, October 31.

At 11am, a vehicle travelling towards Tarwin Lower was struck by a piece of plywood that flew from a vehicle travelling in the Inverloch bound direction, causing damage to the vehicle.

It is understood additional vehicles were travelling in both directions nearby and police are urging anyone with details, dashcam footage or information about the incident or information that can help identify the vehicle from where the plywood originated to call Inverloch Police Station on 5674 1202 or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.


Appeal for burglary information in Inverloch

A FACTORY on Bear Street in Inverloch was broken into between October 29-31 in the evening.

The offices were ransacked, and mechanical property was stolen.

The Bass Coast Crime Investigation Unit attended the scene and have urged anyone with information, including potential CCTV and dashcam footage to come forwards.

Trespassing not tolerated at old campus

THE former Wonthaggi Secondary College McBride Campus has seen an influx of uninvited guests with five youths apprehended for trespassing over the Melbourne Cup Weekend. 

Alarms have been re-activated within the facility and Police will be conducting regular patrols of the school grounds with a zero tolerance for anyone located trespassing.
