Police investigating highway fatality at Loch

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in Loch this morning.

Investigators have been told a motorcycle and ute collided on the South Gippsland Highway about 9.50am on 25 November.

The rider was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but later died.

The driver of the ute stopped at the scene and has spoken with police.

The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
