THE Vic Emergency website and ‘CRIME Watch Victoria’ are reporting a serious Traffic Incident at Phillip Island.

Emergency personnel are responding to a reported traffic accident.
“Initial indications suggest that there may be at least one person trapped inside a vehicle,” according to emergency reports.
Police report that traffic is getting through but you may want to consider avoiding the area because of the possibility of traffic delays brought on by this incident.
Crime Watch Victoria advises that all traffic, including pedestrians and vehicles, stay away from the area until emergency personnel have departed.

The following is a statement from Police Media:
'Police responded to reports of a two-car collision in San Remo on Monday, 26 June.
It’s understood the two vehicles collided head on, on Phillip Island Road about 4.20pm.
One man was flown to hospital with serious injuries and another man and woman were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
