One such memorial is the recently created RSL and Legacy Commemorative Garden at the Inverloch Cemetery. It was extremely disappointing then when some of the poppies we had planted for
Remembrance Day had been lifted and no doubt planted somewhere else.
I know that Reverend Amy, our Sub Branch Padre’, would seek that I do not wish any harm on those who have borrowed our poppies for their own use. And so, I do hope the traditional symbols of love and peace do prosper in the destination garden (well maybe an attack of hay fever).
