WITH four or five seniors missing due to injury and now another five unavailable, it spelt a danger game against Nilma albeit they are the bottom side.
We started with a Nick Ando goal at the four-minute mark followed by another from Trav Stewart, then a great snapshot from Lucas Lee playing his first senior game.
While we controlled the game we put through a lot of points, and it was Jordy who slotted our fourth goal for the quarter to take a handy lead.
The second quarter was a bit of a lack lustre affair with the highlight being the ruck dual between our current ruckman in Trav Stewart and our ex-ruckman in Nick Carrigy.
Both were influential, but Trav seemed to have more support in his mid-field group.
The other showing plenty of influence was Angus McGillivray who was starting to dominate play up forward and had a couple of goals before halftime.
And up in the backline, it was Ben Parrott playing his best game of the season so far repelling Nilma attack time after time.

We were able to dominate the third quarter but didn’t put it on the scoreboard with a lot of easy missed shots on goal.
Angus made the most of a few opportunities in the last quarter with a couple of great snap shots giving him his best ever return of five goals for the day.
We ran out easy winners and great game by Jordy Anderson, Dylan Heylan, Ben Parrott, Trav Stewart, Jack Rosenow and Angus amongst a great team effort.
Next and last game is against Catani and a good performance should provide us with a win to build on going into next season.
Reserves:
With five regular senior players unavailable for the day, it meant that five reserves players had to step up leaving the reserves seriously depleted for the day and full credit to everyone concerned just to be able to field a side.
A big thank you to Tim Miller, Ant and big Bohmer for helping out and all considered we could do with you helping out by pulling on the boots all of next season too.
Whilst we were unable to pull off a win to our credit the game was played in good spirit with the more prolific players being the ever-reliable Shaun Lamb, Luke Forscutt, T. Shiell, B. Smith and B. Welsh.
