THE South Gippsland Bass swimming program continues to excel in competitive swimming, with four swimmers being chosen to represent Team Victoria at the 2024 School Sport Nationals on the Gold Coast, from July 24 to 31.
Archie Smyth, Cooper Quaife and Gemma Cook are returning to the team and are joined by Miah Roberts, who is making her debut.
Cooper, who is in his final year of secondary school, first joined the team while attending Korumburra Primary School.
This will be his third time attending the event.
He was honoured to be selected as captain of the swim team, as well as captain of the Victorian Team.

The Victorian Team is represented at the School Sport Nationals by the swimming, (male and female), basketball, AFL, netball, softball and hockey teams.
Cooper is thrilled to be selected as captain of the 150 participants.
The swimmers will compete in a variety of events, with the primary school students competing the first four days and the secondary students the other five days.
They will also spend a day enjoying some of the local attractions.
