Una’s still going strong at 100

IT WAS a milestone occasion for Una Rieck who celebrated her 100th birthday at the Cape Tavern last week.

The long-time Cape Paterson resident was surrounded by family and friends, as well as members of the Heart Foundation – Sea Salt Walkers, which she is a founding member of.
The walkers meet weekly to not only stay fit and healthy but support each other’s mental health and wellbeing. 

Una helped formed the group in 2011 and has been active ever since. 

Organiser Elly Carter was thrilled they could celebrate Una’s birthday and highlight her extraordinary efforts.
