Unnamed motorcycle rider killed at Koo Wee Rup

Sunday July 3, 2022 8:33am Police Media are reporting that the Cardinia Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash at Koo Wee Rup early Sunday morning.

Emergency services responded to reports of a crashed motorcycle on Rossiter Road at the intersection of the Koo Wee Rup Bypass just after 7.30am.

Sadly, the rider, a yet to be identified man, died at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.

Police were also investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Epping on Sunday, July 3.

Emergency services were called to reports a motorcycle had lost control and crashed on Hayston Boulevard about 5am.

The rider, an 18-year-old Woollert man rider, sadly died at the scene.
