Victorian government broke

GREAT article Michael Giles (Sentinel Times 9/1/24). Vic Roads the only thing they are any good at is potholes which they keep making.

The South Gippsland Highway at Koo Wee Rup still down to one lane but the water has been gone for days.

With Parks Victoria, the South Gippsland Highway either side has ragwort for kilometres.  

George Bass Coastal Walk at the Park’s managed section no longer gets looked after, overgrown trees, blackberries and not being mowed due to lack of funds for Parks Victoria. 

Now Labour wants to create this massive new Central Highlands National Park that will be right in the middle of existing National Parks.   They are going to lock out all of us tax paying users and why?

They cannot afford to manage and upkeep them. They will become overgrown, weed infested, feral animals and when a fire happens, which it will, destroy homes and land.

They will pass the buck onto some other innocent party. It is never their fault.

Our politicians who are local and live in these areas need to step up and take control of their department, not the other way around.
