Wake up South Gippsland

I am disgusted with the Shire of South Gippsland. It is entirely who you know in every instance, this is from staff to councillors.

Threat notices are sent out on some landholders for long grass. This has been a difficult year, paddocks have been too wet for tractors, etc. to harvest some areas.

But these people don’t look, see or care about the fire hazards on our roadsides. 

In Korumburra, the old railway line right in town is a very bad threat. Cig butts out of car windows start fires, guilty are many K’s away when the fire gets going.

There are many houses with long grass and blackberries right in town, not empty houses, mostly tenants.

Half dozen cars parked on the street 24/7. These are dangerous too.

In new areas roads are narrow, a car parked both sides, no fire truck could get through.

Wake up all of you.
