The gallery at the (June) Wednesday Council meeting were dismayed that the monthly council meeting main business items were concluded within 15 minutes.
That was followed by 30 minutes from councillors explaining how they had filled in the past month, followed by a further 15 minutes of answers or non-answers to public questions.
Some questions were not even aired or answered. Our councillors are costing around $500k per year - are we getting value?
