The Save Newhaven Jetty campaign organisers have been left so disappointed to hear that Councillor Rochelle Halstead was stopped from speaking out on the community’s behalf.
The Newhaven Jetty is vitally important to our community, to the tune of 2300 signatures on a paper petition and another 1000 electronically. This deems the issue important enough to now be heard in State Parliament.
The Bass Coast Council should reflect and hear the communities’ concerns and wishes, not fob them off.
