Korumburra's Heather Wilkinson 66, together with her sister Gail, tragically died allegedly as a result of eating poisonous mushrooms.

THE families of the three Korumburra people who died after attending a family lunch in Leongatha on Saturday, July 29 have appealed for the media to leave them alone.

While issuing some preferred photos of the deceased, in response to media inquiries, a representative of the grieving families has urged restraint from media representative.

“Lastly, I’d also like to request that if you have any questions, queries, or requests for any of the Patterson or Wilkinson family members (excluding Erin Patterson, as I don’t represent her), please direct them through me. Calling, texting, emailing, and turning up on doorsteps of grieving family members is unacceptable,” said the family representative over the weekend.

“I understand there is vast public interest in this story, and you all have a job to do. But please respect their wishes.”
