Fatal crash in Mount Eccles

POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Mount Eccles.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Mount Eccles Road and Wild Dog Valley Road about 9.20pm after reports a car had left the road and gone down an embankment.
Police searched the car and the female driver from South Gippsland and only occupant of the vehicle was located deceased.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
