Gumboot fun

I had the pleasure to attend the Gippsland Gumboot Scoot on September 30, at the Stony Creek Racecourse.

It was great fun.

We tried our best to follow our leaders with variating results… the possum watching us must have laughed.

Congratulations must go to the organisers, who put so much effort in to stage this event, that was also a fundraiser for the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation.

It brought the community together in a fun way.

But I could not help thinking if the SGSC had not dismissed the Events and Equestrian Centre, what a magnificent asset it would have been for the community and how much business it would have created.
