Inclusivity not achieved

Our council have introduced an “inclusive prayer” to replace the Lord’s Prayer for their meeting prayer. 

Most Australians in our diverse multi-cultural society believe in a supreme being or gods. 

All these very different belief traditions must surely get a mention in any prayer worthy of the name “inclusive”. This has as yet, not been successfully achieved. 

Our council now have a prayer to no one.
